Learn how movements, creators and campaigners can work together to push back against authoritarianism.
Authoritarian movements and the far right have built ecosystems of creators, podcasts, politicians and clipping accounts that are shaping culture and setting the political agenda.
Progressive and democratic movements have the stories, talent and creativity to respond, but too often that work and its funding is fragmented across individual organisations, campaigns and creators. This webinar will explore how we can move from groups working in isolation to cut through on social media, to shared infrastructure that can help movements respond at scale.
Learn how movements can scale what works
We’ll explore:
- How authoritarians have built content ecosystems that shape culture and influence politics
- How funders can resource the infrastructure and long-term capacity needed for narrative change
- How creators, live streamers, media operations and clipping accounts are working together to shift debate
- How creators, campaigners and organisations can coordinate more effectively
- Lessons from VideoRev’s creator and training projects with TUC, Amnesty, Greenpeace, D-HUB and others
