Challenging racism with practical advice
The Racial Justice Network works to challenge racial injustice and inequality. In 2016 we collaborated to create a video to show how ordinary people could fight racism in their everyday lives.
A viral video launched from a page with one Like
We ran a Creative Sprint to develop the concept. Then we did a one-day shoot with Penny from the Racial Justice Network, filming her sharing her top five ways to disrupt racism on location in Bradford. Finally, we edited and produced the video, launching it on a Facebook page with one like.
Five Ways to Disrupt Racism went viral, inspiring an American remake and generating media coverage.
