The Paris Climate Talks were a crucial moment in the fight for climate justice.

New Internationalist is a campaigning media organisation that tackles issues of inequality and global and environmental justice. They approached us to cover the Paris Climate Talks – a gathering of world leaders from over 190 countries who met in Paris.

The challenge was to raise public awareness of climate activists protesting in Paris, and to engage people on climate change-related issues that were being overlooked by world leaders.

We produced 12 videos in two weeks, shooting, editing and distributing viral videos at speed to keep up with developments on the ground.

On the first day of the talks, our video overtook Obama’s conference speech to become the most watched Facebook video from the talks.

The results speak for themselves:

  • 12 videos viewed over 10 million times
  • 40,000 more Facebook Page Likes for New Internationalist
